1/35 MH-47G Block II Chinook Conversion Set

Update 4/1/2026 - Product development has been completed and production testing has commenced. 

This product converts the Trumpeter 1/35 CH-47D into the 160th SOAR's MH-47G special ops variant - focusing more specifically on the most modern "Block II" variant.

The conversion set includes: 

• Updated nose - integrating the Degraded Visual Environment pilot systems (LIDAR nose, LWIR chin), AN/ALQ-162 Shadowbox sensors, AN/ALQ-211 antennas, and AN/ZSQ-2 sensor ball.
• AN/APQ-187 Silent Knight radar pod
• Upgraded cockpit instrument panel, center console and rear panels
• Enlarged fuel tank sponsons
• Engine inlet filters, upgraded exhausts and shrouds - plug n play. 
• Upgraded winch + mounting points 
• Complete suite of airframe countermeasures and communications updates - including AN/ALQ-211, AN/ARC-231, AN/AVR-2B Laser Warning System, AN/AAQ-24B Advanced Threat Warning, CIRCM, SATCOM, VOR, VHF, HF, etc. 
• Complete "rear ramp" upgrade including sidewalls, ceiling and transmission + housing
• 2x MFOS crew seats
• 2x M240 guns, mounts, ammo boxes for rear windows
• 2x GAU-134 guns, mounts, ammo boxes for front windows 

**Note: No instructions are included for this set - please consult your references.

While most parts are a "drop-fit", some will require a bit of fitting to get right. Remember to test-fit often and confirm placement before committing to glue.
